To-do: Monday 9/28

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Sep 28, 2009

Bikes, Blues & BBQ is officially over and things have finally quieted down around town. For the first time in about a week, local residents can actually say to themselves, “What should we do tonight?” and actually mean it.

At 7pm this evening, there’s a Town Hall Meeting at the Fayetteville Boys & Girls Club on Rupple Rd. Come out and hear straight from the City’s mouth what’s in store and how things are going for Fayetteville right now.

Or you could head to Walton Arts Center to check out The Wedding Singer. The cast and crew have been in town for about a week preparing for an 87-city tour that will officially debut right here in Fayetteville at 7pm.

Choices are slim after that. There’s an acoustic jam out at The Perk on Wedington, A Scrabble Tourney at Smoke & Barrel and the lovely Shannon Wurst is at US Pizza on Dickson.

If none of that sounds fun, you could go out and buy some lottery tickets. It’s the first day of the Arkansas Lottery, y’know? Here’s a list of local retailers. Win!

Full list:

US Pizza Co: Shannon Wurst
Pesto Cafe: Darren Ray
Walton Arts Center: The Wedding Singer
The Perk: Acoustic jam
Smoke & Barrel Tavern: Scrabble Tournament
