Get to know a DJ: Thursdays

Yes, I know I didn’t do a post for Wednesday. I had a big test tomorrow. Boo-hoo. I’ll make it up to you next week.

But hey, it’s Thursday! You know what that means? You can drink tonight and not be an alcoholic. Cause tomorrow is Friday, which is officially part of the weekend. Or something like that.

But it’s also another badass day of programming on KXUA. So without much further adieu, I give you:

Rotation
6-9am: Emily DeLong. A native of Fayetteville, Emily is an amazing chef. Just sayin’
9-1pm: Justin Chimka
12-3pm: Dana Petersen. I like to go in during her shift and play jokes on air. She kind of gets flustered. Also, you should all call in and request “Come Out” from the album “Reich Remixed 2006.” Just do it.
3-6pm: Andrew Reynolds

Genre
6-8pm: The New Music Show: The sound of the cutting edge of all genres hosted by DJ Death Rowe.
8-10pm: The Concrete Schoolyard: with DJ E-Yo & Doug E. Fresh; the Concrete Schoolyard is the place to be for your weekly lesson in True School Hip Hop. Dropping knowledge, beats and rhymes, from the latest and greatest in Underground Hip Hop.
10-12am: Sweet Dreams: Jazz with Chandan. Simple, refined. Awesome.

As always, you can find our podcasts over at KXUA’s website.
