Chefs in the Garden rescheduled for Oct. 13

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Tuesday, Oct 6, 2009

Due to Thursday’s forecast in Fayetteville looking pretty dismal as of right now, Chefs in the Garden, originally scheduled for this Thursday at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Weather.com lists a 60 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms for this Thursday, and organizers decided it would be best to reschedule the annual event.

Chefs in the Garden is the annual harvest celebration at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks featuring cooking demonstrations and samples prepared this year by chefs from Café Rue Orleans, Ella’s, Jammin Java, Little Bread Company, Pinnacle Station Local Market, Shelby Lynne’s Cake Shoppe and Soul restaurant. Oreo Blue is also scheduled to provide the dancing tunes. Tickets are $35 for members of the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks, and $45 for non-members.
