Local warrant information now available online

If you’ve got a misdemeanor warrant out for your arrest, chances are your name is now available in a new online warrant search database set up by the Fayetteville Police Department.

Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced the new service today via a message posted on the city’s website.

Visitors to warrants.accessfayetteville.org are presented with a list of active misdemeanor warrants with the Fayetteville Police Department and can search the list by first, middle and last name. Offenses currently listed are mostly made up of “PARKING SUMMONS” and “FAILURE TO APPEAR” but there are a few “DWI ALCOHOL/ACV” in the mix.

The database is updated approximately every 24 hours and it should be noted that recent changes in the status of the warrants may not be reflected. In other words, it is possible that some warrants listed may have been resolved and the matter may no longer be pending.

The city is asking anyone who might have information which may lead to the arrest of individuals named in the warrants to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555.
