Ultra Studios features local artists during Holiday Shopping Event

Ultra Studios Luxe Lifestyle + Gallery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, will host an exclusive Holiday Shopping Event featuring the work of Brooke Benham, Sweet Little Goat, Totally Spoiled, Rouse Jewelry, l : e custom design, Christine Jordan Floral and Feather Headpieces and more local independent designers and makers. The event starts on Friday, Dec 11, 2009, from 5:00-9:00 pm, and it continues on Saturday, Dec 12 from 9:00 am-7:00 pm at Ultra Studios. The one-of-a-kind shopping experience is open and free of admission.

Brooke Benham is creator of Native Couture clothing and accessories, available exclusively at Ultra Studios. Benham’s stylish and wearable fashion designs are all locally designed and handmade. Her designs were most recently featured at the Ladies’ Night Out runway show, and her new line will debut in Spring 2010.

Owned by Fayetteville entrepreneur Katie Covington Rogers, Sweet Little Goat makes all-natural, hypoallergenic soaps using ingredients straight from nature like olive oil and goat’s milk. Sweet Little Goat soaps are perfect, all-around holiday gifts that can be used as shampoo, face cleanser and body wash. Totally Spoiled offers unique, sassy children’s clothes and accessories designed by Larra Hayward, from brightly colored tutus and floral hair accessories to rhinestone-studded winter gear.

Rouse Jewelry is a locally owned and operated Fayetteville company that creates intention-infused charms and jewels. The gemstone and sterling silver jewelry, made by local artisan hands, are organized into six distinct collections: The Power Collection, The Be Collection, The Simplicity Collection, The Essentials Collection, The Elements Collection and The Focus Collection.

Jewelry Designer Lauren Embree of l : e custom design creates handmade artistic jewelry using reclaimed & vintage materials, semi-precious stones and other natural elements. The Vintage Goddess collection highlights works inspired by the Greek, Roman and Egyptian antiquities collections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

Christine Jordan is a Fayetteville-based custom floral and feather headpiece designer. She cuts lots of hair and loves to make pretty things. She has two amazing sons that keep her occupied, and in her space time she manages her Etsy store here: http://cjordan.etsy.com.

Ultra Studios is open Tuesday-Saturday weekly from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The retail space regularly features Benham’s Native Couture line, Regalia Handmade Clothing by Mark Hughes, jewelry by The Elegant Vagabond and The Silver Hammer, crocheted scarflettes by Marlene Guyer, as well as designer denim, handbags and accessories.
