If you haven’t seen an NWA Roller Derby bout because you’ve been waiting to see them in their new home in the Starlight Skatium, your wait is almost over.
The Arkansas Killbillies will hold their first bout in their new home Saturday night, Jan. 23 when they take on the Memphis Hustlin’ Rollers beginning at 7 p.m.
In just their second season of competition, the Killbillies were a nationally ranked team last year, and word on the street is that they’re gonna be pretty freakin’ awesome again this year. The Memphis Hustlin’ Rollers are an All Star team, so the Killbillies are likely to have their hands full Saturday night.
Tickets can be purchased at Starlight Skatium during normal business hours or from the NWA Roller Derby website. Cost for tickets is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids ages 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
There’s also an after party at Cheers, featuring Cletus Got Shot. That party should start around 9:00 p.m.
