Trash collection resumes today

For anyone wondering why their trash wasn’t picked up yesterday, let us remind you that a gigantic snowstorm pretty much stopped everything in its tracks, including the City of Fayetteville’s trash trucks.

Don’t worry, though. City officials said residential and commercial routes will resume today (Feb. 2).

All residential waste and recycling collections will occur one day later than normal this week.

Residents are encouraged to leave their trash carts and recycling bins at the curb until they can be serviced.
