False alarm at Hog Haus Brewing Co.

4029TV is reporting that the scene at Hog Haus earlier today was all for nothing.

“Turned out the restaurant only had a minor equipment issue, and there was no fire,” reads the 4029TV website.

The City of Fayetteville Fire/Police Dispatch Logs note that shortly before noon, a “Structure Fire” was reported at 430 W. Dickson, the address of Hog Haus Brewing Co.

Within about ten minutes, multiple fire trucks and police officers were on the scene. Before leaving, fire crews raised a ladder and took a look around the roof of the building.

We took some photos but it was 4029TV that got the scoop on the incident.

It was just over a year ago that the restaurant caught fire and parts of the roof had to be removed in order to put out the flames.

UPDATE: We just heard back from the Fayetteville Fire Department. Officials say that some melted wires created a smoke smell which caused the false alarm.
