Monday To-do: Feb. 15

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Feb 15, 2010

We’re right in the middle of a three-day-holiday-extravaganza (or a 3DHE, as we call it here). Yesterday was Valentine’s Day. Today is Presidents’ Day and tomorrow is Fat Tuesday (or Toos-dee, as some say).

Nobody needs help deciding on what to do on Valentine’s Day (smooch). Or Fat Toos-dee (flash). But Presidents’ Day, well, that one’s a toughie.

Your choices are 1) head over to JJ’s to catch Boom Kinetic‘s Wiley Seeger, 2) open mic night at The Perk, 3) watch Darren Ray at Pesto Cafe or 4) check out the OMNI Book Forum.

Hey, it’s Monday.

Need something to do while trying to decide on tonight’s options? There’s a giveaway we started this morning that, if you win, will hook you up with tickets to this weekend’s performance of Ladysmith Black Mambazo at Walton Arts Center.

Also, the Olympics are on TV in case you haven’t noticed.

The list:

Monday, February 15, 2010
JJ’s Grill n Chill: Wiley Seeger (of Boom Kinetic)
Pesto Cafe: Darren Ray
The Perk: Open acoustic jam
OMNI Center: OMNI Book Forum on Money in Politics
