Spring 2010 bulky waste clean ups scheduled

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Feb 15, 2010

Need to get rid of some large bulky items?

The City of Fayetteville Solid Waste and Recycling Division will sponsor four Saturday bulky waste clean ups this spring.

The clean ups are specifically for large bulky items that cannot fit into a normal trash cart. Bags of normal household garbage will not be accepted.

If you are a resident of Fayetteville, you can bring bulky items to any of the clean ups, regardless of which ward you live in. Just bring a recent copy of your water bill to verify residency.

Scheduled Bulky Waste Clean Ups

Ward 4 – Saturday, March 20 – 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Owl Creek School at 375 N. Rupple Rd. and Shaver Foods (Behind Randall Tyson Track complex) at 1367 S. Beechwood Ave.

Ward 3 – Saturday, April 10 – 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Elks Lodge at 4444 N. Crossover and Vandergriff Elementary at 2975 E. Township St. (Enter off Mission and exit out on Township)
