Root Elementary to be certified as a ‘Litter-Free Zone’

John Coleman at the Municipal Live Wire blog is reporting that Fayetteville’s Root Elementary school is set to be certified as a Litter-Free Zone by the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission on Wednesday.

Just last month, Tate Elementary in Van Buren was certified as the state’s fourth official Litter-Free Zone. The school received Litter-Free Zone signs to post around its campus and $1,500 in award money from the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Foundation for their work in the program.
