According to Fox Sports, Oregon has chosen Creighton’s Dana Altman as its new men’s head basketball coach.
Ducks fans should be able to rest easier now that he’s made it past the 24 hour mark.

Three years ago, Altman left Creighton for Arkansas before having a change of heart the next day. We got John Pelphrey soon afterwards.
ESPN was reporting last week that Oregon had been courting Missouri coach (and ex-Razorback/Nolan Richardson assistant) Mike Anderson for the gig.
Mid-Riffs pointed out this little nugget, though:
Sources close to Anderson say that if he were to leave Missouri, the job at Arkansas–if open–is one he’d have strong interest in.
