The 2010 NAMA winners

More than 30 people showed up to the Dickson Theater last night (actually, a lot more than 30. 1000?) to celebrate another year of rock and roll, hip-hop, alt-country, funk, jazz, and 400 other genres of awesome music in Fayetteville at the 15th Annual Northwest Arkansas Music Awards.

Over 4,000 beers were consumed, and millions of awards were given out to the thousands of musicians there.

I’ve never been good with numbers.

In all seriousness, the 2010 NAMA’s were a huge success. 3 Penny Acre took home Band of the Year, Album of the Year, and former 3 Penny Acre member Shannon Wurst took home the NAMA for Best Singer/Songwriter Female.

Benjamin Del Shreve added to his NAMA collection, winning best Rock Band, and Best Male Vocalist, and his brother Randall took home the Best Singer/Songwriter – Male this year. The full list of winners is below. Congrats, everyone.
