Monday To-do: May 3

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, May 3, 2010

In case you haven’t noticed all the campaign signs around town, there’s an election coming up soon. Election day is May 18, but early voting begins today. That’s right, starting this morning you can take yourself down to the Washington County Courthouse and do your duty and be done with it.

Early voting is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The early voting poll site closes at 5:00 PM Monday, May 17.

So what’s happening tonight (besides a town hall meeting)?

The big show is at George’s. Dr. Dog is in town with Deer Tick and it’ll be packed. If there are any tickets left, you can pick them up at georgesmajesticlounge.com, that is, if you didn’t win a pair here on the Flyer.

Also tonight, Nate Hancock is at Powerhouse, Brandon White is at JJ’s and there’s an Art of Wine event at Nibbles Academy of Cooking.

There’s a few other Monday choices. Here’s a list. What’d we miss?

Monday, May 3, 2010
JJ’s Grill n Chill: Brandon White
Pesto Cafe: Darren Ray
Nibbles Academy of Cooking: Art of Wine: Chopped in the Ozarks
Fayetteville Public Library: [email protected]
The Perk: Acoustic Jam
Powerhouse: Nate Hancock
George’s: Dr. Dog / Deer Tick
