Back in March, we told you about a new restaurant and lounge coming to West Avenue in the building that used to house On the Rocks.
Tonight, co-owner Zac Wooden says the lounge part the new restaurant, called West End, will make its debut for the first time at 10:00 p.m., and will open for lunch Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Wooden told us back in March that the new restaurant would serve affordable, traditional American cuisine.
He also told us that he was shooting for a May 8 opening date. Mission accomplished.
