Bike to Work Week proclamation and trail ride rescheduled for Monday

A little rain won’t stop Bike to Work Week, but it will delay the kick-off event by a couple days.

According to Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks member Dan Dean, the Bike to Work Week proclamation and trail ride has been rescheduled for Monday, May 17 and relocated to the steps of the Fayetteville Town Center.

Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan will read the Bike to Work Week proclamation at 5:15 p.m., and the Scull Creek Trail ride to Mellow Mushroom Pizza will leave at 5:30 p.m.

This event is the kick-off for the 2010 Bike Commute Challenge.
