2010 Preferential Primary – Washington County results

Nearly 25,000 ballots were cast in the 2010 Preferential Primary elections in Washington County and at around 11 p.m., with 99.19 percent of all precincts reporting, the unofficial results were posted at the Washington County Courthouse.

Greg Leding defeated Bill Ramsey to succeed Lindsley Smith as District 92’s State Representative, Fayetteville voters passed Ordinance No. 5305 to allow HMR tax to be used for park maintenance, John Boozman carried the Republican primary in the U.S. Senate race, and though Bill Halter forced a runoff election with Blanche Lincoln in the Democratic Primary statewide, Washington County voters favored Lincoln.
