According to a tweet by Northwest Arkansas Times reporter Skip Descant sent out earlier today, another Fayetteville City Council seat will be up for grabs this fall. Descant says Ward 4 alderwoman Shirley Lucas is not planning to seek re-election in November.
Last month, Ward 2’s Kyle Cook indicated he’d be leaving an open position, too.

As for whether or not Robert Rhoads (Ward 3) and Adella Gray (Ward 1) are interested in keeping their seats, we’ll just have to wait and see.
The only official candidates planning a run that we’ve heard of so far are Justin Tennant (Ward 3) and Mark Kinion (Ward 2).
