Arkansas to host NCAA regional at Baum Stadium

If you’re a baseball fan, you probably already know that Arkansas has received a bid to host a regional during the first round of this year’s NCAA baseball tournament. Today, the rest of the field was announced by the NCAA.

Arkansas received a 16 seed overall in the tournament despite closing the regular season in a major slump. The Hogs lost 10 of their last 15 games, including being swept in the SEC tournament in Hoover, Alabama last week.

The Hogs will open NCAA tourney play against Grambling State on Friday, June 4 at Baum Stadium. Washington State and Kansas State round out the 4 team field playing in the Fayetteville regional.

Regional ticket packages are $70, and are available now. Individual game tickets are $15, and will go on sale at the Baum Stadium ticket office 2 hours before the games.

Gametimes are still TBD, but the brackets for all the regionals are available at NCAA.com.
