It took two elections, but one of this year’s key primary races has been decided. Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) took a narrow victory over Bill Halter and now faces Republican Rep. John Boozman (and Trevor Drown).
On the Republican side, Rogers Mayor Steve Womack secured the 3rd District congressional nomination sending Cecile Bledsoe back home. Bledsoe was the first woman ever to seek the GOP nomination in the district.
