Starting with sophomore infielder Zack Cox, who was selected in the first round by the St. Louis Cardinals, a total of eight Razorbacks were taken in the 2010 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft earlier this week.
Cox, who was sitting in the dugout during a game Monday night when he found out he was a Cardinal, was the only player taken on day one. The rest were grabbed up the next day, headlined by Brett Eibner and Drew Smyly who were each selected in the second round.
Andy Wilkins, Mike Bolsinger, Collin Kuhn , Jeremy Heatley and Jordan Pratt rounded out the group of draftees.
