Monday To-do: June 14

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Jun 14, 2010

So I hear you spent most of the day Saturday driving around eating wings at 10 different places searching for the best Fayetteville has to offer. On Sunday, they say you sat in an oversized kiddie pool in your backyard while shooting cans off a chair with a BB gun. Sounds like a good time.

Oh wait, that was my weekend. Don’t be jealous.

If you need a quick weekend refresher to keep yourself in the loop at work today, hereyago:

  • Fayetteville broke the world record for the largest swim lesson in one location with 262 people.
  • Laura (Flyer Foodie) organized another foodathon on Saturday. Instead of tacos, though, this time we were scouting wings. Results coming soon.
  • The Arkansas baseball team lost both of its super regional games in Tempe, Arizona to end the season. Next up: foosball.

What’s happening tonight? Not much. We’ve got Sarah Hughes at Powerhouse and a few other options. Other than that, you’re on your own.

List:

Monday, June 14, 2010
Walton Arts Center: Beauty and the Beast Performance Camp with Trike Theatre
Pesto Cafe: Darren Ray
JJ’s Grill n Chill: Will Gunselman
Powerhouse: Sarah Hughes
The Perk: Acoustic Jam
