#Razup Razorback tweetup scheduled for June 18

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Wednesday, Jun 16, 2010

The Razorback baseball season ended last weekend, football is more than two months away, and if you’re a Hog sports fan, there’s a good chance you’re experiencing the pangs of some serious Razorback withdrawals right now.

Luckily, you are not alone and on Friday, there’s a chance you can get a little bit of relief (at least enough to stop the night sweats) at the first ever #RazUp tweetup event at Grub’s Bar & Grill.

It’s being organized by Brandon Marcello of the Slophouse Blog and the folks at Razorbloggers.net, and the idea is for “Arkansas fans and avid Twitter users to meet up in person, share stories and talk all things Hogs with fellow fans and the members of the media they follow on Twitter.”

A bit more information is available on Facebook, and you can also RSVP via Twitvite.

The Razorback football team kick off their 2010-11 season on Sept. 4 against Tennessee Tech. Until then, what else are we gonna do?

Date: Friday, June 18
Time: 6:00 p.m.
