Is it just me, or are there more unbelievably talented jewelry and clothing designers working in the area these days than there used to be?
It could have something to do with the fact that places like Ultra Studios, Art Amiss, First Thursday Fayetteville, and others have given the designers a place to showcase their work, but lately it seems like we’ve come across more impressive locally designed fashion and jewelry than ever before.
The trend continues this Thursday, June 17, when two talented local designers show off their work in a trunk show and reception at Ultra Studios. Jewelry designer Brandy Thomason of Bella Vita Jewelry and clothing designer Leslie Pennel of Esque have joined forces to present the Summer Lovin’ Trunk Show, beginning at 6 p.m.
Both designers will be showing off new summer lines. Esque will debut new hand made crop tops, wrap dresses, and high waisted shorts, all in sheer summery fabrics, and Bella Vita will have brand new light-weight jewelry in bright colors to compliment summer styles.
