Tuesday To-do: June 22

In case you missed it yesterday, there’s a couple of famous guys headed our way soon.

Walton Arts Center yesterday announced that B.B. King will be in town on September 23. Tickets go on sale on July 14, and will cost between $58 and $100.

The much younger (and much more Arkansas-born) Kris Allen of American Idol (and Conway) fame is also coming to Fayetteville. Tickets to the show are $25, and are available through George’s ticketing site.

That’s the future, though. Here’s the now.

As we said last week, All OUT June is entering the home stretch as the month of June slowly winds down. There’s still a handful of events left, though, and tonight is Time OUT Tuesday at U.S. Pizza. Besides pizza (and beer), at 7 p.m. there’s a drag bingo fundraiser for the NWA Center for Equality.

If it’s games you want but you’re not into yelling ‘Bingo,’ there’s a Scrabble tourney at Smoke & Barrel. The real kind, not the one you play on your iPhone and leave your friends hanging for days on end.

Besides Bella Vista board game night, there’s a little bit of music, too. The McCleod/Burson Quartet provides jazz at Scarpino’s, Tom Nolan is at Herman’s and the Traveling Wheelbearings are at Jose’s.
