Fayetteville Animal Shelter wants your junk

That sounded dirty, didn’t it?

It’s true (kind of). The Fayetteville Animal Shelter is collecting items for their first annual Paws for a Bargain Yard Sale, scheduled for July 16-17 at the shelter.

Items can be dropped off from now until July 12 at the shelter during business hours from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

If you have large items you’d like to donate, you can call Animal Services Superintendent Justine Middleton at 444-3455 and she will arrange pick-up.

Items donated are tax deductible, and the shelter will provide a receipt if you bring in an itemized list of donated items and their reasonable value.

The yard sale will be held on Friday, July 16 from 7:00-12:00 and Saturday, July 17 from 7:00-12:00. All the proceeds will benefit the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, and leftover items will be donated to local charities

Win? Yes.
