New sponsor: Riffraff

Our sponsors are amazing. Without them, we wouldn’t exist. Well, not literally, but you know what I mean.

We started a tradition last month of announcing our new sponsors here in the blog, so you guys can get a better idea of the local businesses that keep us going, and to make it a little easier to help support some of the folks that support the Flyer and Local540.

Our latest sponsor, Riffraff is moving into a brand new location, and they’re celebrating with a grand opening at 19 S. Block Ave on the Fayetteville square Thursday, July 8 from 4-9 p.m.

For those who aren’t familiar, Riffraff was opened in 2009 by interior designer Kirsten Blowers. The store specializes in home decor items including art, refurbished and recycled furniture, as well as locally crafted jewelry, gifts, and apparel.

The grand opening on Thursday will feature wine and hors d’oeuvres, including cupcakes from Bliss Cupcake Cafe, and ZaZa’s Specialty and Gourmet Baked Treats.

Riffraff will also be showing off tons of brand new inventory at the new store Thursday. A moving sale last week pretty much cleared the place out, Blowers said.

Please welcome Riffraff to our little community and if you stop by the grand opening on Thursday, please let them know you appreciate their continued support. Or, just give Kirsten a high five. Your choice.
