Joseph Israel Gulley Park concert moved due to rain

  • By Todd Gill · Thursday, Jul 8, 2010

We just got word that tonight’s Gulley Park Concert Series event featuring Joseph Israel has been moved to the Fayetteville Town Center on the square due to the weather.

According to the forecasts we’ve seen for today, the rain might let up right before dark for a couple of hours, but then again, it might only let up for a few minutes. Come to think of it, a few minutes isn’t really a “let-up” in our opinion, so it might end up raining straight on through until tomorrow morning. Unless it doesn’t.

Translation: Nobody knows anything about what the weather is going to do. Ever.

Just look outside. There’s rain. There’s dark clouds in all directions. It’s time to turn the outdoor concert into an indoor concert.

Same 7 p.m. time. Same band. Different place. Oh, and the parking deck will be open for free parking.

If you’re not into Joseph Israel, there are other options for the evening. Check ’em out.
