We hope our mention Friday of University of Arkansas grad Dan Faires, who was working his way through season 5 of HGTV’s Design Star, wasn’t a jinx that contributed to his elimination from the show last night.
Dan was one of the coolest guys on the show, but his contractor self got in the way of his designer self last night. Ultimately, it cost him his own HGTV show.
If you want to get out early today, stop by the Anne Kittrell Art Gallery on campus. Joelle Storet and Jason Ward are both having art openings this morning at 10 a.m. The gallery is located on the 4th floor of the Arkansas Student Union.
Did you miss Andy Frasco last night at George’s? Don’t freak. He’s still in town and plays at Smoke & Barrel tonight. Check out the video below if you’re not familiar.
If you’re a Big Smith fan, you’ll probably want to head out to Powerhouse tonight. Frontman Mark Bilyeu will be there. Probably on the patio.
