Thursday To-do: July 15

  • By Todd Gill · Thursday, Jul 15, 2010

Arkansas is getting all kinds of attention lately. There’s the two women on Big Brother who seem to have brought nothing but Arkansas Razorback apparel with them to wear while on the show. Then there’s Dan Faires, who was eliminated from HGTV’s Design Star, but who’s still in the running for his own online design show. Then there’s Jessie Lunderby, who made national news after being put on leave and then fired for being a Cyber Girl of the Week. So much to keep up with. There’s more to come, too.

If you just want to lay in the park and forget about it all, there’s a to-do option for you this evening. The Sarah Hughes Band is playing at Gulley Park tonight as part of the summer concert series. She was originally scheduled to play last month, but it rained. These shows are free, but bring something to sit on.

There’s a big show at George’s tonight with No Justice, Johnny Cooper, and 2 Steps Back.

Over at Smoke & Barrel is Brooklyn’s Spirit Family Reunion. Scroll down for a video in case you’re unfamiliar.

Elsewhere, GG Allin/Atom & His Package/Jackass mashup The Emotron is at The GROJ along with Lovesick Nomads.

There’s more, too.
