Walton Arts Center announces $10 show series

If you like jazz, classical, world music, and dance performances and don’t like spending lots of money on tickets, the Walton Arts Center has a new program for you.

The WAC announced their new 10×10 Arts Series, featuring 10 shows beginning in October and scheduled throughout the 2010-11 season at just $10 per ticket on their blog last week, and more details, including the show schedule and ticket packages were released today.

“The idea that you can see an American Jazz Hall of Fame pianist or a renowned Madrid-based dance troupe for only $10 is pretty amazing,” said WAC VP of communications Jodi Beznoska. “And it’s also a great excuse to have a memorable night out with friends or family.”

Three 10×10 Art Series packages are available, and if you buy tickets to all 10 shows on Monday, Aug. 9, you can get a second set of tickets to the show for free. In other words, that’s two tickets to 10 shows for $100 (or $5 each.) Not bad.
