Monday To-Do: Aug. 23

Fayetteville’s population just got another boost. If you haven’t noticed yet, you will soon.

The UA recently reported an expected enrollment of 20,700 students this semester, and 3,458 are incoming freshmen. That’s a record number of total students and it exceeds the university’s 2015 goal of 3,350 newbies.

I don’t know about you, but to me, Fayetteville feels revived every time a new semester starts. Couple that with the lower temperatures we’re about to see and we’ve got ourselves a good week in store.

The calendar’s a little light this evening. Consider heading up to campus for an evening stroll. Walk your dog, walk your cat, or just walk yourself. You could use it. While you’re up there, test out that new guest wireless network they’re reporting today.
