Giveaway: TheatreSquared’s The 39 Steps

This contest is now closed. Congrats to the winners Erika and Jacqueline Presley.

Somehow, the folks at TheatreSquared went and started an unofficial Alfred Hitchcock festival this weekend.

It all started with T2’s decision to perform the theatrical version of Hitchcock’s classic The 39 Steps, opening Sept. 2, and running through the 19th at Nadine Baum Studios.

Then, KUAF got involved, and decided to do Hitchcock trivia in the beer garden during First Thursday, and feature music from his films during Film Score Friday this week. Both the trivia contest at First Thursday and Film Score Friday will feature chances to win tickets to T2’s production along with prizes from the Wine Cellar, Ella’s Restaurant, and the Inn at Carnal Hall.

Then, those zany actors at Phunbags Comedy Improv got wind of it, and decided to do a Hitchcock-themed interactive performance, also at First Thursday in the beer garden, and Smoke & Barrel decided to show three of Hitchcock’s films (including The 39 Steps) during this week’s Sunday movie night.
