Giveaway: Black Crowes at the AMP on Oct. 2

This contest is now closed. Congrats to the winners, chris crovella and Angie.

I’m not sure what happened to the summer this year, but it seems like about 30 minutes ago that we were talking about the upcoming summer concerts at Wakarusa and the AMP.

Now, most of those upcoming concerts are past concerts, and unless another show is announced soon, the AMP will conclude their sixth season in a few weeks on Oct. 2 with the Black Crowes.

Chris, Rich, Luther, and the boys were in the area most recently for a show at Wakarusa 2009, and before that, they played at the AMP back in August 2008.

This summer marked the 20th anniversary of their 1990 debut album “Shake Your Money Maker,” and the band announced recently that they will take “a lengthy hiatus” when their current tour ends in December of this year.

In other words, if you like The Black Crowes, and you’ve always wanted to see them live, do it on Oct. 2. Who knows when/if they’ll be back.

We happen to have two pairs of tickets to the show. Try to win!

How to enter
The Black Crowes career has spanned for two full decades, and over that time they’ve released 15 albums, sold about 30 million of them, resulting in too many hit songs to count.

Leave a comment naming your favorite Black Crowes song, and you’re entered. If you can’t think of one and you still want to enter, just say “She Talks to Angels.”

What you’ll win
Two (2) winners will receive two (2) tickets each to the Saturday, Oct. 2 Black Crowes performance at the Arkansas Music Pavilion.
