Bow wow wow, yippe-yo, yippe-yea. You probably know how that phrase ends, and according to multiple sources, it appears that Snoop Dogg may indeed end up in the mutha-effin’ house in a few weeks.
University Programs could not confirm the show this afternoon, but according to a tweet posted by UA student newspaper The Arkansas Traveler last week, and a post on Memphis concert promoter Jim Green’s website, Mr. Dogg will be at Barnhill Arena for a show at the end of the month.
The show has not been officially announced, but it looks like it will either be on Oct. 24 (per the Traveler) or the 25th (per Green’s website.)
Green’s company, Green Machine Concerts, is also the promoter behind the Merle Haggard concert coming to the WAC on Nov. 10, among several others in the area.
We expect an announcement one way or the other in the next week, especially considering according to Green, tickets go on sale Oct. 13 through the Walton Arts Center’s website. We’ll keep you posted. Fo’ shiz. (Sorry).
Update: Looks like there is now a Facebook event for the show, coming on Sunday, Oct. 24.
