Monday To-do: Nov. 1

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Nov 1, 2010

How was your weekend? Full of tricks? Treats? Parties? Spooks?

Ours was a mixture of all the above plus a little bit of sports and a ton of political robocalls.

Now that Halloween is in our rearview mirror, we’ve got one more day of election fever before we can expect an onslaught of holiday advertising.

Move over Saw 3D, it’s time to sell some 3D TVs.

Today

Tomorrow is election day which means today is your last chance to vote early. If you want to get ahead and cast your votes before the stampede arrives, head over to the Washington County Clerk’s office at 280 N College Avenue. If you’re going to join in the fun tomorrow, use this handy Google tool to find your polling place.

Today is also the last chance to submit literary work for consideration in Art Amiss 13 which takes place Nov. 10 at the Dickson Theater. The deadline for art submissions is Friday, Nov. 5.

The Ryan Montbleau Band is playing a free show tonight at George’s Majestic Lounge. It’s the only free show on their current schedule, so if you’re a fan, don’t waste your time and money by driving to K.C. tomorrow just because you’re busy tonight. That’d be weird.

The calendar list is short today, but there are a few more options. Let us know what we missed.

Welcome to November.
