FPL Celebrates National Gaming Day

FAYETTEVILLE – The Fayetteville Public Library will celebrate National Gaming Day on Saturday, November 13.

The library will also have other video games available for free play throughout the gaming day celebration, from noon to 4:45 p.m.

A national Super Smash Brothers tournament will begin at noon.

The gaming will be in the library’s Walker Community Room and the Wal-Mart Storytime Room.

The American Library Association created National Gaming Day because of the increasing number of libraries that have begun to stock their shelves with video games to attract teens and young adults to the library.

The event is free and open to ages 12 to 18.
This event is co-sponsored by the Best Buy of Fayetteville..
