We haven’t been by yet, but after calling the Catfish Hole today, we can confirm that the best hush puppies this side of the sun will continue to flow despite a brief fire Monday night.
The fire caused damaged to the ceiling, attic and parts of a women’s restroom, but was not enough to keep the place closed for too long.

“We’re definitely open, but I gotta warn ya, the food’s really hot,” joked whoever answered the phone this afternoon.
