Fayetteville Compost Available for Sale
FAYETTEVILLE, AR – Due to new equipment operations the City of Fayetteville has an abundance of compost available for sale. The Compost Site, located at 1708 S. Armstrong Road in southeast Fayetteville, will extend the hours of operation and will be open on Tuesday, November 16th; Wednesday, November 17th; and Thursday, November 18th in order to sell the compost to Fayetteville residents. The site will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. each of those days. You must be a Fayetteville resident to purchase compost. Please bring a recent water bill to prove residency and show Solid Waste charges.
The price for the Compost will be $20 plus tax per scoop. Each scoop is 2 cubic yards weighing approximately 1,000 lbs. The compost has been screened to remove large sticks and other items for a finer product. Compost will be sold until the supply is depleted.
The compost facility is also open the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
