Mt. Comfort Rd. Sidewalk Improvements
The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will begin construction of a new sidewalk connection on Mt. Comfort Road between Lewis Avenue and Stephens Avenue Tuesday, November 16, 2010.
Work will consist of constructing a new 6 foot wide sidewalk, curb and gutter and storm drains along the south side of Mt. Comfort Road.
Estimated construction time for the project is 6 weeks.
Phase 1 construction will require closing Mt. Comfort Rd. between Lewis Ave. and Stephens Ave. during work hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The street will reopen at night and weekends. This phase is estimated to take 2 weeks.
Detour routes will be posted to reroute traffic.
