If you use Sycamore Street as a cut-through to (or from) College Avenue, be prepared for some lane closures this week.
The city’s Transportation Division on Monday began the process of milling, surface preparation, and asphalt overlay of the section of Sycamore Street between College Avenue and Woolsey Avenue.
Drivers headed east on Sycamore will be met with cones and detour signs at Woolsey, but accessing the road from College Avenue is currently off limits.
From the press release:
Periodic lane closures should be expected, and vehicular traffic will detoured appropriately. This work will continue until the expected completion of paving operations on Friday November 19th. Thank you for your patience while we are engaged in this road work.
