Coming soon: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Feb. 19 at Walton Arts Center

Break out your zoot-suit and your (swing) dancing shoes, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is coming to town.

The Walton Arts Center, in association with George’s Majestic Lounge, today announced that the swing-revival band is headed to Fayetteville for a show on Feb. 19, 2011.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy got famous when two of their songs, “You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)” and “Go Daddy-O” were featured in the 1996 comedy film Swingers.

Recently, the band released an album of jazz performer Cab Calloway’s songs entitled, “How Big Can You Get?”, and the show coming up in February is also a tribute to the legendary band leader.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, Nov. 19 at 9 a.m., and can be purchased by calling 479-443-5600 or at waltonartscenter.org.
