For the last several years, we’ve heard a lot about the unbelievable collection of art that Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art has been acquiring.

That answer came this morning, when Crystal Bridges’ executive director Don Bacigalupi announced the museum will open to the public on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. The announcement was made at the monthly meeting of the Arkansas State Parks, Recreation and Travel Commission.
Now, let that sink in. That’s less than a year from now.
