Thursday To-do: Nov. 18

  • By Todd Gill · Thursday, Nov 18, 2010

Looking at yesterday’s poll, it seems like you guys have pretty much figured out who the culprit was in last year’s truck-hits-trees incident on College Avenue. There are still a few days left in the poll, but unless me or you get a lot more votes, some a-hole is our man.

If you’re not headed out to Bud Walton Arena tonight for the Razorback men’s basketball season opener, there are a ton of options for fun tonight.

Video game fans or video game music fans (bonus if you’re into both) should plan to be at Smoke & Barrel Tavern tonight. Local video game music cover band The OneUps are set to play with Philly’s Mega Ran. Scroll down for The OneUps’ awesome video for their cover of “Mario Circuit” from Mario Kart. The video was filmed at Lokomotion on the go kart track. Need I say more?

Also tonight is Effron White’s Songs in the ‘Ville. This evening’s round features Benjamin del Shreve, Randall Shreve and Jovan Arellano. Note that tonight’s event has been moved to the Inn at Carnall Hall on campus. The show will return to the UARK Ballroom in December.

Willie Straddlin is at George’s, Jamie Wolfe is at JJ’s, Acid of the East is at Maxine’s, and that’s not even half of it.
