Fayetteville, AR –December 7, 2010- The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors adopted the following resolution on Monday, December 6, 2010 in response to the Walton Arts Center’s expansion announcement.
Resolution
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors supports the decision made by the Walton Arts Center to make the arts bigger and better in Fayetteville and the broader Northwest Arkansas area.
The Board looks forward to collaborating with the city of Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas and the Walton Arts Center to make Fayetteville a great place to live and to do business.
The Chamber Board supports the Mayor and the Chancellor’s position that litigation is counterproductive.
In addition, the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors supports the city’s implementation of its paid parking system which supports businesses and the arts in Fayetteville.
