Fayetteville band What Army to release new album Dec. 15

It has already been a really good year for new music from local bands this year. The last 12 months have brought new releases from 3 Penny Acre, Trout Fishing in America, 1 oz. Jig, Memphis Pencils, Hosta, Boom Kinetic, Charliehorse, The Plaid Jackets, Cletus Got Shot, and Candy Lee, and that’s just off the top of my head.

On Wednesday, Dec. 15, Fayetteville band What Army is getting into the new music act when they release their brand new CD “Where the Skeletons Are” at Rogue Pizza Co. Locals Rollo Tumasi will open open the show.

The new disc is a concept album about recurring dreams or nightmares, and the band began writing and recording the record when they returned from a west coast tour back in May of this year.

The new CD will be available for half-price ($5) at the show on Wednesday, and the album will also come with a free Christmas single.

Afterwards, the new disc will be available at Sound Warehouse, the Fayetteville Visitor Center on the square, and at Hastings Entertainment in Fiesta Square.
