Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks hosts State of Bicycling event

If you’re interested in bicycling, mark your calendar, stick a post it note on your forehead, or hang a sign on your dog about the Bicycle Coalition of the Ozarks’ annual Northwest Arkansas State of Bicycling Event, coming up on Jan. 23 at the Fayetteville Public Library’s Walker Community Room.

At the event, the BCO will highlight a decade worth of accomplishments in bicycle education and awareness in Northwest Arkansas, as well as talk about their vision for the future of cycling in the region.

The BGO will also make a presentation on their new Bicycle Education pilot program currently in progress for Third-Fifth grade students at Fayetteville Public Schools, and will have recent Bike Ed graduates on hand to talk about their experiences.

Volunteers are needed for the coming year for a variety of BCO programs, as well as on the organization’s board of directors. For more info on any of the above, email [email protected].
