Oak Ridge Trail construction underway

Oak Ridge Trail construction beginning at Frisco Trail and Center Street in front of Trailside Cafe & Tea Room.

Construction of the latest addition to the city’s trail system began last week and seems to be moving along nicely.

The Oak Ridge Trail is a half-mile branch will connect to Frisco Trail in front of Trailside Cafe & Tea Room on Center Street. From there, it’ll continue through the woods behind California Boulevard (think Clinton House Museum) and end near Pomfret Hall on the University of Arkansas campus.

In case you don’t make it over to Center Street very often, we’ve embedded quick video above that we shot this morning of the work being done.
