Inclement Weather Schedule for Fayetteville’s Waste Collection

Fayetteville, AR –
Due to the poor road conditions on side streets and hilly areas, the Solid Waste and Recycling Division has suspended all residential solid waste, recycling and yardwaste collections for Monday, January 10th, 2011. There will be limited emergency commercial collection but the majority of commercial routes have been suspended for Monday, January 10th as well. Residential and commercial routes will resume when conditions improve. The Transfer Station and Solid Waste and Recycling office will be open on Monday, January 10th.

Residents are encouraged to please leave your trash carts and recycling bins at the curb until they can be serviced by City vehicles. All residential waste, recycling and yardwaste collections will occur when road conditions warrant.

If you have any questions about your solid waste and recycling services, please contact the Solid Waste and Recycling Division at 575-8398 during normal business hours, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, or view information posted on the City’s website at www.accessfayetteville.org.
