As the snow continues to fall in Fayetteville, we’re getting more and more notifications of closings.
Fayetteville Public Schools are closed, the University of Arkansas is closed, and so is Fayetteville City Hall.
As far as to-do items are concerned, the list is getting shorter by the minute.
With City Hall being closed, there will be no public meetings today. Tonight’s City Council meeting has been re-scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m.
The Walton Arts Center has cancelled all performances by The Peking Acrobats.
The folks at George’s Majestic Lounge informed us that Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights are not going to make it to town, and that Truth & Salvage Co. might not. Update: Truth & Salvage Co. won’t make it to town tonight, either.
The Mount Sequoyah Music on the Mountain show for tonight is cancelled.
We’ll post more info as soon as we receive it.
If you’re looking for something to do this evening that doesn’t involve sledding, snowmen or snowball fights, please make sure to check with the venues listed below before heading out. And please be careful.
